England cricketers in PSL 2025 like David Willey are looking for ways to leave Pakistan, according to media reports. According to The Telegraph, most England cricketers playing in the PSL have decided to remain in Pakistan, and the others are checking exploring options to reach their respective homes. There has also been an emergency call meeting conducted by the ECB on the situation.
England all-rounder Chris Jordan is among cricketers who are playing in PSL 2025. Others are James Vince, Tom Curran, Sam Billings, David Willey, Luke Wood and Tom Kohler-Cadmore. There has also been concerns for the English coaches present there, like Ravi Bopa and Alexandra Hartley.
England batter James Vince is a crucial member of Karachi Kings team in PSL 2025. He is 4th highest run-getter this season with 294 runs in 8 matches with 1 hundred and 2 fifties.
Pakistan Cricketer Board claim that no foreign cricketer wants to leave Pakistan early, according to media reports. At least three media managers of the six franchises in the league said it was a developing situation but so far no overseas player (s) from their teams had requested to leave the league. Each franchise in the league has 5-6 overseas players in their squads, according to PTI news agency.
PSL 2025 final is set to take place in Lahore on May 18. Rawalpindi will be hosting matches on May 7, 8, 9 and 10. Thereafter the final group stage match is scheduled in Multan on 11 May. The Qualifier is set to take place in Rawalpindi on 13 May, while both Eliminators (1 and 2) are at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahor on May 14 and 16.
