Sachin Tendulkar got married to Anjali Tendulkar on May 24, 1995. The couple have one son Arjun Tendulkar and one daughter Sara Tendulkar.
Sachin Tendulkar was rumoured to have an affair with Bollywood star Shilpa Shirodkar back in the 1990s before his marriage to Anjali Tendulkar.
Shilpa Shirodkar revealed that Sachin Tendulkar was her 'family friend' in an interview. "When I was doing Hum, I met Sachin for the first time, because Sachin jaha pe rehte the mere cousin brother waha par rehte the. Sachin and my cousin brother used to play cricket together in Bandra East. So, that’s how I met Sachin. And Sachin was already seeing Anjali at that time, which was not told to anybody. We all knew because we were friends. Because an actor is meeting a cricketer and he was Sachin Tendulkar, it became easy for people to say, aree and I met him once," Shirodkar revealed in an inteview to Red FM.
Sachin Tendulkar also denied having an affair with Shilpa Shirodkar. "That Shilpa Shirodkar and I were having an affair. Because we don't even know each other at all," Tendulkar said in an interview to India Today, denying that he even knew her.
Shilpa Shirodkar is married to UK-based banker named Aparesh Ranjit since 2000. Shilpa took part in Bigg Boss 18 season in 2024.
Sachin Tendulkar runs his Foundation after retirement with wife Anjali Tendulkar and daughter Sara Tendulkar. His son Arjun Tendulkar plays cricket and was bought for Rs 30 lakh by Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2025 mega auction.
