Choreographer and dancer Dhanashree Verma is currently appearing on Ashneer Grover's show "Rise and Fall." There, she spoke candidly about her marriage and divorce several times.
The couple officially divorced in March 2025. Speaking to co-contestant Kubbra Sait on the show, Dhanashree revealed that she realized the relationship was breaking very early on.
Kubbra asked her when she realized the relationship wouldn't last. Dhanashree replied, "I caught it in the first year, in the second month." Kubbra's reaction to this was, "Crazy bro!"
After the divorce, there was talk that Chahal had to pay ₹60 crore in alimony. However, Dhanashree clarified that she never asked for alimony and that these reports were completely false.
Dhanashree explained that their divorce was mutual, so everything was settled very quickly. She said that the rumors that were spread outside were completely different from the reality.
Dhanashree also admitted in another conversation that she doesn't think she will be able to date anyone again. She believes that once trust is broken, it is difficult to mend.
