Terror Attack in Pahalgam Shakes the Nation

The terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, has shocked the entire nation. The tragic incident claimed 26 lives. In response, the Indian government has taken tough measures against Pakistan, including sealing the border and sending back all Pakistani nationals from India. Additionally, India has terminated the Indus Water Treaty with Pakistan. These actions have angered some former Pakistani cricketers, leading to controversial remarks, especially by Shahid Afridi.

Afridi Makes Controversial Statement Against Indian Army

Former Pakistan cricket team captain Shahid Afridi blamed the Indian Army for the Pahalgam terror attack. Speaking on a Pakistani news channel, Afridi called the Indian Army "useless" and claimed that India unfairly holds Pakistan responsible for every mishap. He questioned the army's effectiveness, noting that despite heavy deployment in Kashmir, the attack still took place.

Afridi further mocked India by saying, "Even if a firecracker bursts in India, Pakistan is blamed." Highlighting the heavy military presence in Kashmir, he remarked that the attack shows the Indian Army’s inability to provide proper security, calling it incompetent and incapable.

Afridi Criticizes Indian Media for Sensationalism

Afridi criticized Indian media outlets for their coverage of the attack, accusing them of turning news into "Bollywood-style" drama. He expressed amusement over the immediate finger-pointing at Pakistan without evidence, questioning the professionalism and maturity of Indian media houses.

Afridi Challenges India to Show Proof

Afridi claimed that Pakistan had already provided evidence in the past regarding its innocence. He said, "We handed one over after offering him tea, and another proof is still with us." He urged India to present evidence rather than blaming Pakistan without justification.
