Shoaib Akhtar has been named mentor of Dhaka Capitals team in Bangladesh Premier League 2025 season. "We are taking him as a mentor for Dhaka Capitals for the upcoming edition of BPL," Atik Fahad, chief executive officer of Dhaka Capitals was quoted as saying by Cricbuzz website.
Dhaka Capitals have selected Shoaib Akhtar due to his brand value, according to CEO Atik Fahad. "Before the season starts he will come for a couple of days as we have some endorsements with him and he will leave after finishing those endorsements," Fahad told Cricbuzz website.
Shoaib Akhtar's Dhaka Capitals will be part of BPL 2026 auction on November 30 at the Grand Ballroom, Radisson Blu Dhaka.
