The next episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 is set to be one of the most talked-about episodes, as Amitabh Bachchan will host several stars from the Indian Women's Cricket team, fresh from their World Cup victory earlier this month.
As per reports one player fans were eagerly expecting to see is absent star opener Smriti Mandhana will not be part of the episode.
Smriti Mandhana has been in the headline this month, not just for her cricketing achievements but also for her personal life.
Mandhana was scheduled to marry singer Palaash Muchhal on November 23, but the wedding was called off hours before the ceremony after her father, Srinivas, was hospitalized following a heart attack.
Smriti Mandhana has removed all posts related to her wedding and engagement, including her proposal video.
Close friends like Jemimah Rodrigues and Shreyanka Patil have also taken down the wedding announcement video.
Fans are left wondering about the situation, but neither Smriti nor her family have provided further details.
