Kapil Dev - 1983 ODI World Vup
Under the captaincy of Kapil Dev, Team India reached its first-ever World Cup final and went on to script history as the Men in Blue defeated the West Indies in the 1983 ODI World Cup final, securing the country's maiden world title. During the tournament, Kapil Dev also produced one of the most memorable innings in World Cup history, an unbeaten 175 against Zimbabwe, which rescued India from getting knocked out from the tournament

2. Sourav Ganguly - 2003 ODI World Cup
Under the captaincy of Sourav Ganguly, Team India reached the ODI World Cup final after a gap of 20 years. India entered the final of the 2003 ODI World Cup in South Africa, but eventually finished runners-up after losing to Australia in the final.
