India surpassed its previous best U19 ODI score of 425/3 against Scotland in 2004. In fact, the total of 433 is now the third-highest ever by any team in a men’s U19 one-day match.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored his 171 with nine boundaries at a strike rate of 180. He reached his fifty in 30 balls, his hundred in 56 balls, and 150 in 84 balls. He also hit 14 sixes, the most ever in the tournament, surpassing Afghanistan's Darwish Rasooli, who had hit 10 sixes against UAE in 2017.
