The Bandra Family Court granted Yuzvendra Chahal and his estranged wife, Dhanashree Verma, a divorce on March 20.
While Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma have remained silent on the reason behind their split, reports suggest that Mumbai played a major role in their separation.
Senior entertainment journalist Vickey Lalwani revealed that Chahal and Verma “never truly got along” due to their contrasting personalities.
The journalist further said that Dhanashree wished to relocate to Mumbai, while Yuzvendra was not in favour of moving away from his parents, this was a key factor that reportedly contributed to their decision to part ways.
Afterb their marriage, Yuzi and Dhanashree had shifted to stay with Yuzi’s parents in Haryana and came to Mumbai only when they needed to. Yes, this Mumbai-Haryana jhagda was one of the main reasons why this much-in-the-paparazzi-world marriage ended. The cricketer was clear that he wouldn’t leave his parent's home.
