Earlier in the year 2022, Chahal was part of Rajasthan Royals where he lost against Gujarat Titans. This was Chahal's second IPL final which he lost. Earlier, when Chahal used to be a part of RCB, he had to face defeat in the IPL final in the year 2016. At that time RCB lost to Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Ravichandran Ashwin and Shikhar Dhawan

The second unlucky player in IPL history is Ravichandran Ashwin. Ashwin has lost two IPL finals with Chennai Super Kings (CSK). He had to face defeat against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in 2012 and Mumbai Indians (MI) in 2013. In 2020, he was part of the Delhi Capitals (DC) team when they lost the final to MI. He once again suffered a setback while playing for Rajasthan Royals (RR) 2022 when they lost the final against Gujarat Titans (GT). However, Ashwin has won two IPL titles while playing for Chennai. He lifted the IPL trophy with CSK in 2010 and 2011.

Shikhar Dhawan's Mixed Fortunes in IPL Finals

Shikhar Dhawan was part of the Mumbai Indians (MI) team that lost the 2010 final to Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Dhawan also lost the 2018 final when he played against CSK for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Dhawan was also part of the Delhi Capitals (DC) team when they lost the 2020 IPL final to MI. However, Dhawan won the trophy with SRH in 2016 when they defeated RCB in the final.
