Located at an elevation of 2,730 metres above sea level, Gulmarg is 31 kilometres away from Baramulla and 49 kilometres away from Srinagar. Sightseeing attractions include the highest golf course in the world, St Mary's Church, Baba Reshi Shrine and a gongola cable car ride.
Sonmarg is 80 kms north of Srinagar, at a height of 2,730 metres above sea level on the banks of River Sindh. Thajiwas Glacier, Amarnath Cave, Naranag and Gadsar Lake are some of the sightseeing attractions in Sonmarg.
