Gurdaspur Election 2022 Result: Counting of votes for 7 assembly segments in the Gurdaspur district began at 8 AM. Gurdaspur district has seven assembly segments—Gurdaspur, Dina Nagar, Qadian, Batala, Sri Hargobindpur, Fatehgarh Churian, and Dera Baba Nanak. Gurdaspur went to the polls in Phase 1 of the Punjab Assembly elections 2022 on February 20, 2022. The district falls under the Majha region of the state of Punjab.
All necessary arrangements have been made for the counting. The postal ballots will be counted first, and then the votes polled in the EVMs will be counted. GURDASPUR ELECTION RESULT 2022 DECLARED: Congress’ Barindermeet Singh Pahra won with a margin of 7335 votes.
DINA NAGAR ELECTION RESULT 2022 DECLARED: Congress’ Aruna Chaudhhary won by defeating AAP’s Shamsher Singh by 1131 votes.
QADIAN ELECTION RESULT 2022 DECLARED: Congress’ Partap Singh Bajwa retained his seat defeting SAD’s Guriqbal Singh Mahal.
FATEHGARH CHURIAN ELECTION RESULT 2022 DECLARED: AAP’s Lakhbir Singh Rai won by defeating Congress’ Kuljit Singh Nagra.
DERA BABA NANAK ELECTION RESULT 2022 DECLARED: Deputy Chief Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa retained his seat by defeating SAD’s Ravikaran Singh Kahlon.
SRI HARGOBINDPUR ELECTION RESULT 2022 DECLARED: Amarpal Singh from AAP wins with a margin of 16,963 votes, defeats Rajanbir Singh of SAD | 3:45 pm update
BATALA ELECTION RESULT 2022 DECLARED: AAP candidate Amansher Singh (Shery Kalsi) wins with 28,472 marginal votes, defeating INC’s Ashwani Sekhri in Batala. | 2:45 pm update
Gurdaspur Election Results 2022: INC’s Barindermeet Singh Pahra has maintained their lead in Gurdaspur with 29,386 votes.
10:30 am: In Dina Nagar, Shamsher Singh of AAP leads and contests with Aruna Chaudhary of INC. In Qadian, INC’s Partap Singh Bajwa is ahead. INC is also ahead in Fatehgarh Churian and Dera Baba Nanak as per the trends. However, in Batala and Sri Hargobindpur, AAP leads.
10:00 am: In Gurdaspur, Gurbachan Singh Babehali of SAD leads. He contests with BJP’s Parminder Singh Gill and INC’s Barindermeet Singh Pahra.
