Helmed by Umesh Shukla, Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor starrer 102 Not Out released worldwide on May 4, 2018. In the film, Amitabh plays a 102-year-old man and Rishi Kapoor plays his 75-year-old son. The plot revolves around the 102-year-old man trying to break the record for the oldest person in the world, held in the movie by a Chinese Man.
Earlier today, the makers have dropped a new track titled ‘Waqt Ne Kiya’, a new rendition of the timeless classic ‘Waqt Ne Kiya Kya Haseen Sitam’ (from the 1959 film ‘Kaagaz Ke Phool’) which was originally composed by SD Burman and the sung by Geeta Dutt. Big B, who has crooned the energetic number ‘Badumbaaa’ along with his co-actor Rishi Kapoor in his upcoming film, has lent his voice to this beautiful track from Shukla’s 102 Not Out. Big B’s version of the song has been arranged by Rohan Utpat and Vinayak K Salvi.
The critics feel, the unique and refreshing concept of ‘102 Not Out’ is its strength. Of course, the highlights are the performances by Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor. While the film has been highly appreciated and loved by critics, let’s take a look at the first-day first show verdict by the audience.
