Saif Ali Khan’s Kaalakaandi is finally set to hit theatres tomorrow. The dark comedy directed and written by Akshat Verma was stuck for months thanks to the content of the film. But the quirky comedy will finally release in theatres. Aamir Khan recently watched the film at the special screening and he seems to have totally enjoyed the script and Saif’s comic timing. After reading the Dangal actor’s review of Kaalakaandi, we can’t wait to watch the film.

A few minutes ago, Aamir Khan took to Twitter to express his thoughts about Saif’s latest offering. The superstar while talking about Kaalakaandi wrote, “Kaalakandi is one of the funniest films I have seen in a long time. Haven’t laughed this much since I read the script of Delhi Belly. Absolutely loved all the performances. Saif was outstanding! What a debut Akshat! Proud of you. The film was earlier not getting a release date and then there was talk about the film releasing only on digital mediums. The film then finally got a producer who showed faith in the dark comedy and agreed to come on board to produce the film. While talking about this, Saif had told DNA, “I am glad that we have a producer on board who had faith in our product. There was a time when the film was going to release only on digital platform but now, thankfully, it will have a theatrical release because I always felt Kaalakaandi deserves that.”
