Also, after Highway and Tamasha, people wwere waiting for one more such gem from Imtiaz Ali. But after JHMS released, all this expectations were shattered and the audience started questioning Shah Rukh Khan’s choice of films. We all know that King Khan is one of the finest actors of Bollywood and he necessarily does not need to prove it to people anymore. However, fans being fans, will want to see him performing his best in every film he does. Now for these disappointed fans of Shah Rukh Khan, Aanand L Rai has a promise to keep!

Shah Rukh Khan is doing is next with Tanu Weds Manu director Aanand L Rai. He will be playing a role of a dwarf or call it vertically challenged person.(read details here) Of course, once again SRK has taken up a challenging role and Aanand thinks that this film will turn all the negativity into positivity.

Talking to a leading daily, Aanand said, ” With our film, I know I will rectify his relationship with the audience. I can sense what people are seeking. I will be honest to my craft and will work hard for my audience. I won’t let the reactions to his last films cloud my head right now. I am here to deliver and I will do a damn good job of it. Right now, we are having fun at work and I won’t let anything change that.”

Talking about the negativity around Jab Harry Met Sejal’s box office disaster, he said, ” I filter it out, and replace it with excitement. We are aware that his films haven’t worked. It’s there in front of us, we can’t deny that. Box-office collections don’t affect him as much. Bank account deposits is the last thing on his mind. What affects him is that he might be losing the love of people.” Well, Shah Rukh Khan definitely does not need to worry about people’s love for him as it is as deep and unending as an ocean. We hope that fans now cheer up after Aanand’s this statement!
