Nana Patekar is summoned to head the squad. As expected, he keeps the gun firmly planted in the holster and let his fiery dialogues do the talking. Now your rational would make you assume that this must be a cinematic treat indeed. Sadly, it isn’t. While Nana (him alone) ensures that you don’t leave the darkroom, but the weirdest camera angles coupled with ‘completely-out-of-sync’ background score make your head spin. The likes of Ashutosh Rana, Vikram Gokhale, Mohan Agashey and Dilip Prabhavalkar have not exactly been employed to their fullest potential. Nana aka Sadhu Agashey unleashes his fury as an unbending cop. Loses his son at the hands of his nemesis. The saga has now turned bloodier, murkier and bloody-personal. But is it equally entertaining and gripping like the original movie? Nope!
Will Sadhu seek revenge to settle the score? And more importantly-Will Ajaz Gulab, the director, redeem himself in the second half? Watch this space for the full review.
