Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan, who was last seen in Sajid Nadiadwala‘s multi-starrer film Housefull 3 which was released in 2016,  is all set to make his comeback in the Hindi Cinema with his upcoming film, Manmarziyaan. This time, Junior Bachchan will face the camera after long 2 years. The actor, who has already shortlisted 4-5 scripts for his future projects, wrapped up the Anurag Kashyap directorial in Amristar and Kashmir.

Recently, talking to Film Companion, he revealed how he was nervous to make a comeback as one always go through various emotions like fear, lack of confidence, among others, after a lengthy hiatus. In a statement to Pinkvilla, Abhishek said, “I don’t think it burdens men more. I think as human beings, be it an actor or actress you go through the same emotions..the same fear..lack of confidence, but sometimes it’s a decision you need to take.”

Emphasizing on the fact that attitude matters as men and women both go through the same insecurities, he further added, “Aishwarya, after Aaradhya was born took a few years off as she wanted to concentrate on her daughter. When she came back, she went through the same insecurities of ‘Am I going to be able to do it’, pick up where I left off, do I have to climb the mountain again?”

Speaking of how his family reacted when he told his family about his decision of returning to films, he told the entertainment portal, “Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was fine with it. Helmed by Anurag Kashyap, the film, which is set in Amritsar, is a quintessential love story that showcases complex emotions. ‘Manmarziyaan’ is bankrolled by Colour Yellow, in association with Phantom Films and is slated for a release on September 7, 2018. Besides Abhishek Bachchan, the film also features Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal in pivotal roles. Watch this space for further updates.
