Prabhas’ Baahubali2 The Conclusion has released in China today  (May 4) and on its day 1 itself, the film has made some smashing records. It has minted $2.85 million (Rs 19 crore) in its opening day and crossed the lifetime collection of Baahubali The Beginning. It has also entered the Top 5 all time day 1 collection of Indian films at China Box Office. It is the only Telugu film so far and has secured the No. 3 position with Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar (No. 1), Irrfan Khan’s Hindi Medium (No. 2), Aamir’s Dangal at (No. 4) and Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan (No. 5)

And now it looks like another Tollywood hit is all set to take China box office by storm. Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam which is a blockbuster already with Rs 200 crore in it kitty at the worldwide box office, is all set to release in China. The director Sukumar plans to take the film to the Chinese audience by Summer this year, which means in the next two-three months. Not just this, Rangasthalam will also have a re-release PAN India dubbed in all major Indian languages.

According to a source close to the film, “The makers have been receiving a lot of inquiries about the film in other languages and therefore they have decided to dub the film in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and a few more Indian languages and release it at a PAN India level.” The film starred Ram Charan as lead and Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the female lead. The period drama, set against a village backdrop in the 1980’s, revealed an all new Ram Charan to the audience, where he portrayed a deaf village character for the first time in his career. His performance received thumbs up from critics and audience. During his interviews before the film’s release Ram Charan had said that this was the first time he was playing a village simpleton and the story for as real as it can get and now, he wants to do more films like Rangasthalam.
