Baahubali actress Tamannah Bhatia who is one of the top actresses down South earned more popularity internationally thanks to Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion. And her performance has been rewarded in the most unlikely manner, as she turns to Dr. Tamannah Bhatia! Recognising her contribution to South cinema, the Confederation of International Accreditation Commission (CIAC), an International NGO, has conferred Tamannah with an Honorary Doctorate.
The actress took to social media to express her delight at the news. She posted photos of the event on Facebook and promised to live up to the honour given to her. Tamannah looked stunning as usual in an elegant white dress. She captioned the post: Honored to receive the doctorate from CIAC (Confederation of International Accreditation Commission). Thank you all for your blessings 😇🙏🏻 I will strive do justice to this honour in every possible way 🙂
Tamannah has predominantly acted in Tamil and Telugu films, having entered the film industry at a very young age. Tamannah made her debut in a Tamil film titled Kedi in 2006. The actress shot to fame with director Balaji Sakhtivel’s Kaloori and she has since then been counted among the top actresses in the South having done films with the likes of Vijay and Ajith. The actress is also popular in Bollywood films having appeared in films like Himmatwala in 2013. The actress is currently busy shooting for ‘Sketch’, her first film with Chiyaan Vikram.
