If one were to only take into consideration the Youtube numbers, it garnered over 15 million views. In fact, the trailer has created a record of sorts with the makers confirming that it’s the first Hindi trailer to have crossed the 20 million mark within 24 hours.

The trailer is also the No 1 trending video on Youtube since its launch. When asked what took him seven years to make the fourth “Golmaal” film, Shetty told the media during the trailer release press conference, “We were waiting for the right story. We didn’t want to cheat the audience with a bad story under the ‘Golmaal’ brand. So we worked hard to crack this story and when it finally happened, we made the film.”

The film is expected to have the widest release out of all the installments of the franchise. It is expected to release across 4000 screens in India on October 20 ie. Diwali. If you’re of the opinion that the lead star cast of the film is interesting, the supporting cast comprising Neil Nitin Mukesh, Prakash Raj, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Mukesh Tiwari and Ashwini Kalsekar is no less. Helmed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Reliance Entertainment in association with Mangl Murti Films and Rohit Shetty Picturez, the film is expected to be a downright hit like its previous installments, fans and critics say.
