Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Shruti Haasan starrer Telugu movie Premam is one of the most awaited movies of this year! Premam is the official Telugu remake of the Malayalam super hit movie starring Nivin Pauly. Since Naga Chaitanya also has a great connect with the youth, the Telugu version of Premam is also anticipated to be one big hit for Naga Chaitanya and Shruti Haasan.

The movie has retained  Madonna Sebastian, and Anupama Parameswaran from the original movie in the lead role alongside Naga Chaitanya aand Shruti Haasan. The release date of the movie has been fixed on the auspicious festival of Dussehra 2016. The movie is going to be released on October 8, 2016. Although it was scheduled to be released earlier in the month of September, but  the makers of Premam postponed the project so as to avoid a clash with Naga Chaitanya’s other movie Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo. Naga Chaitanya will play the role of Nivin Pauly and Shruti Haasan will be portraying the character originally played by Sai Pallavi. Whereas Madonna Sebastian, and Anupama Parameswaran  will be seen reprising the the roles from the original Malayalam hit movie. The coming-of-age story Premam revolves around the three stages in the life of the protagonist played by Naga Chaitanya. Last week the first song Evare sneak peek from Premam enchanted everyone. The full video song of Evare (originally Malare) will be released  from the Premam music album on the occasion of Chaitanya’s father Nagarjuna’s birthday on August 29, 2016. Premam’s audio launch will happen on September 20, 2016 this move is to somehow make it coincide with  late legendary actor Nageswara Rao’s birth anniversary. Only time will tell if Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Shruti Haasan starrer Telugu movie Premam will be as successful as the original Malayalam version of Premam starring Nivin Pauly. But so far it seems that the movie is indeed going to be a huge success considering the fact that everyone is already so much excited for this movie.
