Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar took the Dizzy Goals Challenge as part of the Global Goals campaign recently. The actor took the challenge of the dizzy football kick while in Houston, USA on his Fusion Tour last month. Akshay is the first Indian personality to take the #dizzygoals challenge, undertaken by celebrities like Real Madrid F C and Wales national football team’s midfielder Gareth Bale, former footballer Gary Lineker OBE, former England striker Alan Shearer OBE, and Liverpool Football Club players Jordon Ibe and Joe Gomez.
“Hi, this is Akshay Kumar and you are watching my Dizzy penalty for the Global Goals,” the B-town actor says in the video before showing off his dizzy penalty skills.
The Dizzy Goals Challenge is in support of a major campaign launching in September at the United Nations General Assembly – the Global Goals for Sustainable Development. The Global Goals are a series of ambitious targets to end extreme poverty, fight inequality and tackle climate change for everyone by 2030. The Global Goals campaign aims to make the Global Goals the most famous goals on the planet by sharing them with seven billion people in seven days from the moment they are adopted.
