Actor Alok Nath, who has been accused of sexual allegations by the producer of a renowned show, Tara, has denied all the allegations. While speaking to ABP, he said that he wouldn’t agree or deny it adding that ‘it might have happened but someone else would have done it’.

Nath said, “Neither I am denying this nor do I would agree with it. It (rape) must have happened, but someone else would have done it. Well, I do not want to talk much about it as for the matter if it has come out, it will be stretched.”

Earlier, in a heart-wrenching Facebook post, the female producer of the show narrated an incident when she went for the party at Alok’s place and felt her drinks were mixed. She added that she was dropped by the actor at her place and when she woke up, she was in pain.

The producer also mentioned that she kept her story of harassment and rape to herself for 19 long years. She wrote, “I have waited for this moment to come for 19 years. I shout out to each one of you who have suffered at the hands of predators to come out and say it aloud. Don’t hold yourselves back. This is a moment for change so your silence will only hold barriers to its evolution. Speak out. Shout out from the top of the roof.”

Meanwhile, actor Sushant Singh, who is general secretary of CINTAA, has extended support to the victim assuring that notice will be sent to Alok. He also urged the director to file a complaint.

The producer opened up about her horrifying story in the wake of #MeToo Movement that started after Tanushree Dutta accused veteran actor Nana Patekar for harassing her on the sets of Horn Ok Pleassss in 2008.
