Actors Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor have come together on the big screen for the first time in “Baaghi”. Both Tiger and Shraddha have known each other since childhood days but never thought they’d end up being in a movie together. Well, they do look undoubtedly cute as far as the trailer and posters are anything to go by, but are their performances equally impressive? Let’s find that out.

Plot:

The film starts with introducing Shraddha Kapoor as Sia who is a renowned actress in the South, gets kidnapped by a random guy Raghav Shetty (sudheer Babu). Sia’s father tries to take help from the police and other higher authorities but they refuse to do anything as Raghav Shetty is a very high-level criminal. Raghav kidnapps Sia and takes her to Bangkok and Sia’s father is left with no option other than to approach Ronnie (Tiger Shroff) to rescue his daughter. ALSO READ: Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor look stylish as ever on Baaghi new poster

It so happens that Sia and Ronnie have had a history. They first meet on a train journey and sparks fly. They meet again in Hyderabad and soon fall in love with each other. However, that is also when Sia’s father promises to wed his daughter to Raghav unbeknownst of the fact that Sia is already in love with Ronnie.

There is action, there is romance and a whole lot of drama- All in all, the movie is a one-time watch if you are a fan of typical Bollywood style love stories which include the hero and the villain fighting for the heroine.

Chemistry:

Although the trailers and movie posters made it seem like Tiger and Shraddha look awefully cute together, to your disappointment, let us tell you, their camaraderie fails to leave a mark on viewers. Yes, they do look good together, but they share a very thanda chemistry onscreen. ALSO READ: Baaghi music review: Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor film has a compilation of vibrant and beautiful romantic songs

Performances:

Tiger Shroff has undergone a massive transformation ever since Heropanti happened and we ought to say we are loving the new tiger. Watching Tiger Shroff flexing muscles on the big screen is a treat to the eyes. Not only that, his acting skills have also improved to a great extent. Watching Shraddha Kapoor perform all the high-end action stunts leaves wanting to take up a self defense course! Sudheer Babu makes a remarkable Bollywood debut as a villain in this Tiger-Shraddha starrer. The film has some major portions which have Tiger perform some amazing jaw-dropping Kalaripayattu stunts. Clearly, he is next action hero of Bollywood!

Music:

Be it the highly energetic rain song Cham Cham or the romantic song Sab Tera– All the songs of Baaghi are worth listening to. Arijit Singh ads his own charm to Girl I Need You making it the best of them all. Moreover, the song has been shot in the beautiful locations of Kerala which is why it is more visually appealing.

All in all, action is the only good element in this film.  High-end action saves the otherwise dull chemistry of this Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor starrer.

Baaghi“has been directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The duo along with Tiger Shroff had earlier given the hit film Heropanti together.
