It was India.com to inform you that the leading lady in Rohit Shetty’s Simmba opposite Ranveer Singh is chosen. We also told you that Sara Ali Khan will be pairing up with the hotstepper and Simmba, and not Kedarnath, will now be her Bollywood debut film. All seemed okay and like the perfect divine plan. The man who was supposed to mentor and launch the star kid, Karan Johar, was again in her life as the producer of her first ever film. However, just before the team was planning to take the film on floors, it hit a roadblock. Mommy Amrita Singh, who has been taking care of Sara’s dream start in Bollywood, has asked the makers to re-work on the script.

Reports suggest that since the original film Simmba is being made from, (South film Temper), didn’t have much scope for the leading lady, Amrita was concerned about how much Sara will get to do in her first outing on the big screen. Therefore she got involved and asked Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty to get the roles rewritten so that Sara gets an equally important character to play as Ranveer.

A report in Midday quote a source as saying, “The writers are reworking the parts of both, the leading man and his love interest. Since this is Sara Ali Khan’s debut film, Amrita was clear that she shouldn’t be overshadowed by Ranveer.” Well, we feel Amrita has very little reason to worry. The budding actress was at Abu Jani’s niece Saudamini Matto’s wedding last evening and she shook up a storm on the song Saat Samundar Paar. With her latkas, jhatkas and her live wire performance, we do not think Sara can ever be overshadowed!

The video is going viral on the internet right now. Just a day earlier, pictures of her where she was dressed in a Golden Abu Jani-Sandeep Kholsa ensemble and posed with mommy and Dimple Kapadia, went viral as well. We are sure, after the attention and feedback Sara Ali Khan is receiving for this little glimpse of what a star she is, Amrita Singh has no reason to worry for her little girl’s big Bollywood debut. What do you think?
