Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu has hit the theatres and Trade experts are expecting the political drama directed by Koratala Siva, also starring Kiara Advani, to take Box Office by storm. While there are predictions that the film will make around Rs 50 crore worldwide on his opening day, we now have information of how it has broken a record on its first day of release. Bharat Ane Nenu released in Chennai as well on April 20, thanks to the end of the TFPC strike, and it has raked in Rs 27 lakh. It is a new Day 2 Chennai city groos record for a Telugu film and with this, Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu has beaten Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam (Rs 25 lakhs) and power star Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi (Rs 24 lakhs).

The film has also done tremendous business in the US markets and has grossed $1 million already.
