The wait is finally over as the dramatic and controversial journey of Bigg Boss Kannada 6 hosted by Kiccha Sudeep has come to an end. Shashi Kumar lifted the trophy defeating Kavitha Gowda, Naveen Sajju, Andy and Rapid Rashmi. Shashi won a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh. He got emotional and thanked fans for their support. Many fans predicted Shashi’s win and most of the Bigg Boss inmates called him their favourite.
Shashi is a farmer by occupation and entered the house as a commoner. While entering the show, he stated that he wants the youth to develop interest in the agriculture sector. He has an interest in folk dance as well. He has learned dance forms like Dollu Kunita, Veeragaase and Kamsale.
Music sensation Naveen Sajju became the first runner up and actress Kavitha Gowda stood at the third place. The latter was happy with the fact that she has reached so far. She also thanked the makers for giving her the golden opportunity.
Shashi’s journey in the house has been a roller-coaster ride. He was in the controversies for his anger management issues. However, despite everything, he performed well in tasks and impressed everyone. As a result, he was declared as the winner.
There is no denying the fact that Bigg Boss and controversies go hand-in-hand. Thus, after Dhanraj’s eviction, fans were furious and also called the reality show scripted. He got eliminated a few days before the finale.
On a related note, Bigg Boss Kannada 6 started on 21st October 2018 with the concept of commoner vs celebs. The show had 18 contestants with 10 commoners and 8 celebs. Later, Jeevitha and Megashree, two wildcard contestants entered the house. Among these 20 contestants, only five made it to the grand finale and Shashi won the title.
