The year seems to be dedicated to cop masala entertainers, what with Ranveer Singh‘s Simmba, Ayushmann Khurrana‘s upcoming movie, Article 15 and now Aftab Shivdasani‘s May release, Setters. Sharing few of his stills from the movie, where he can be seen essaying the role of inspector Aditya Singh, Aftab updated his Instagram post that is being flocked by fans who can’t stop gushing over his new avatar.

In the shared pictures, Aftab is seen inside a police station, sitting at his desk, donning the police uniform and giving intense look as he saluted a senior (not seen in the camera), hearing a case (in the second picture) or simply working on his messy table, under the glowing lamp. He captioned the stills as, “Discipline says, “I need to.” Duty says, “I ought to.” Devotion says, “I want to.” – Aditya Singh. #setters #filmstills Film releasing – 3/5/19.” (sic)

A few days ago, Aftab had shared another couple of stills from the trailer and captioned them as, “‘Being alone has a power that very few people can handle..’ – Aditya Singh #setters #filmstills Film releasing – 3/5/19. Trailer in bio.”

Helmed by Ashwini Chaudhary and bankrolled by Vikash Mani, the movie, Setters, revolves around the education mafia in Varanasi who are tracked down by Aftab and his team. The trailer shows actor Shreyas Talpade as the mafia gang’s leader. Shot extensively in New Delhi, Varanasi, Jaipur and Mumbai, the movie is slated to hit cinema screens on May 3, 2019.
