Akshay Kumar who is known for his ‘daredevil’ acts was a few days ago involved in a fire act where he had set himself on fire. This took place during a launch event where Akshay also revealed about making a debut in the digital world. Post that, the actor is all set once again to perform a fire act but this time he will be doing it on a show.

The actor is all set to play with fire once again on Rohit Shetty’s show Khatron Ke Khiladi 9. Akshay will be seen getting chased by a truck during his attempt at crossing burning cars.

Sharing a glimpse of the stunt, Akshay took to Twitter and wrote, “It’s a flaming week for ‘Kesari’. Warming up with Rohit for ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’.” Referring to his wife Twinkle’s previous tweet on his fire act, he wrote, “P.S. Don’t tell my wife.”

A few days ago at an event, Akshay had set himself on fire and left the audiences dumbstruck. A few hours later his wife saw his act on social media and retweeted the same along with, “”Crap! This is how I find out that you decided to set yourself on fire ! Come home and I am going to kill you-in case you do survive this! #GodHelpMe” (sic)”.

At the same event, Akshay revealed that he will soon be making his digital debut. Talking about what made him want to enter into the digital world, he told Hindustan Times, “I have a heavy line-up of films this year, but I decided to do a web-series because of my son Aarav, who asked me to do it as nothing works for the younger generation better than a web-series”.

Talking about the same, a source told Hindustan Times, “Akshay was told by many people that he should not light himself on fire, as it was highly dangerous. But he wouldn’t listen to anyone, as we all know how much he loves doing his own action sequences in films too. Of course, there was a team of experts present on hand, and all the requisite safety precautions and permissions were taken. It was a sight to behold!”.

Akshay’s next film Kesari also stars Parineeti Chopra who plays Akshay’s love interest. The film, which is directed by Anurag Singh, is all set to hit theatres on March 21, giving fans a perfect Holi gift. Apart from Kesari, Akshay will also be seen in Good News with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mission Mangal. Parineeti, on the other hand, will soon be seen in Sandeep aur Pinky Faraar and Jabariya Jodi.
