Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are currently busy with the shotting of Brahmastra in Bulgaria but the duo along with the team have taken out time from their hectic schedule to explore the city. Recently, Alia shared a picture of her against a scenic backdrop. Another picture was shared by director Karan Johar where Alia, Ranbir and Ayan Mukerji were seen with South Indian actor Nagarjuna Akkineni. Sharing the picture, Karan showed his excitement on having Nagarjuna play a “special” role in Brahmastra. He captioned it, “We are honoured and exceptionally excited to have the one and only
@iamnagarjuna doing an extremely “special” role in our film #BRAHMASTRA !! Directed by Ayan Mukerji @SrBachchan @aliaa08 #RanbirKapoor …thank you sir for your love and your beautiful energy!.” Alia, on the other hand, captioned her picture, “take you wonder by wonder ♂️.” In another picture, we see Alia’s beau Ranbir, in the background while she is having a ball with her girlfriends.
Nagarjuna had joined the cast yesterday and took to his twitter to share a few pictures with the team. He captioned the album, “sunny Sunday and a fantastic lunch with the
#brahmāstra team..we missed you!! @karanjohar.” The actor is making his Bollywood comeback after 15 years. He had earlier stated that while he has shared screen space with Amitabh Bachchan in Khuda Gawah, he is now excited to work with Alia and Ranbir. “Except Amitji (Amitabh Bachchan) with whom I’ve worked in Khuda Gawah, they are all new to me. I’m working for the first time with Karan Johar, (director) Ayan Mukherjee, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor,” Nagarjuna told IANS. “I still remember Alia Bhatt as a child on Bhatt saab’s set. Now I am working with her in Brahmastra. How time flies,” he added.
