One of Bollywood’s most versatile actor Alia Bhatt who has proved that she can ace any role given to her recently bagged the Filmfare award for Best Actress for her performance in RaaziEarlier today, Alia shared a heartfelt post expressing her gratitude towards the director of Raazi, Meghna Gulzar.

Alia took to her Instagram to share pictures of herself in a shimmery off shoulder corset dress. Through the pictures the Highway actor thanked Raazi director Meghna Gulzar. She also went on to thank the entire crew of the film, her parents, her friends, siblings and Filmfare.

She captioned it, “A big feeling I have been feeling off late is gratitude.. Meghna Gulzar – to me first – raazi and everything about raazi is you – your effort, your tears, your love, your care it’s you you you and just you.. Earlier, Neetu took to Instagram to share a picture of her son Ranbir and Alia from the Filmfare awards night and gave a sweet caption to it that read, “AND moments like these make you forget all the stress 🥰 congratulations so proud n happy #filmfareawards #bestactor#bestactress 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕” (sic) It was a picture of the two lost in each other’s eyes on stage.

Alia made her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s Student of The Year (2012). Post that, she appeared in films like Highway, Udta Punjab, Raazi for which she was applauded. Her last release Gully Boy where she is seen with Ranveer Singh did wonders at the Box Office. She will next be seen in Kalank which is set to release on April 17. Other films in her kitty are BrahmastraInshallah and RRR. Alia will be marking her Telugu debut with SS Rajamouli’s RRR along with Ajay Devgn.
