Actress Alia Bhatt is celebrating her 26th birthday today, on March 15. She has more than one reason to celebrate today. Alia has been doing wonderfully in her career and has also got a companion in Ranbir Kapoor. She has got lovely and talented parents who always have Alia’s back. With so much happiness around her already, a birthday comes as an additional occasion to be grateful for what she has. Her mother, Soni Razdan also feels the same.
The veteran actress has given a special interview about her daughter to an entertainment portal revealing how Alia is in the best phase of her life currently. Mrs Bhatt talked to Pinkvilla and expressed her happiness over her daughter’s achievements. She also mentioned that Alia is talented and fortunate to have born in the time when there are good roles written for actresses like her who keep content before anything else.
Soni Razdan said, “We are all happy. Her birthday is always a time to celebrate and she has a lot to celebrate. Her birthday is always a special occasion. At this moment in her life, she has a lot to celebrate. She had a successful film, she has another release coming up soon. So, it’s all very exciting and we are looking forward to a very interesting year ahead as she will be working with her dad. As it is something very special and she just signed a film with SS Rajamouli which is a big announcement. Kalank is releasing and it is looking absolutely beautiful. So obviously, for her, this is like a kind of a special time.”
She added, “On one level, I also feel lucky that she is coming from this time where there are very one-dimensional roles for women. For example, her character in Gully Boy is such a wonderful character. It’s such a role model for young girls. Earlier, nobody wrote such characters. So, you also need somebody who can write characters like that and also somebody who can play them. So she happens to be one person who is able to play these roles. And that’s great for her. I hope she keeps on getting better as she is only 26 and as she grows older, she will get better and does more work. As a mom, I am looking forward to it.”
