Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is pretty well known for his performances, having starred in blockbusters like 3 Idiots, Lagaan and Dangal. Apart from his acting though, Aamir also has a love for animals, evident from the pictures that he shares on his social media page. The most recent picture that he has shared is of himself and his pet Imli, an adorable Yorkshire Terrier.

Taking to his Instagram page, Aamir, who has shared pictures of the dog before, posted the photo of the two of them looking lost in thought or looking at something in the distant. He had only captioned the picture as “Imli and me”.

The first time we saw Imli was during Aamir and Kiran Rao’s son Azad Rao Khan’s birthday whereby they had all dressed up as the comic book characters from Asterix or The Adventures of Asterix. Aamir was dressed as Obelix, his son Azad as Asterix, Kiran as Getafix the druid, and Imli as Dogmatix, Obelix’s pet dog. Looking the part, Aamir had shared the pictures on his Instagram page.

Of the pictures that he had shared while carrying Imli during the party one was captioned, “Obelix waits in line for the magic potion, while Asterix is drinking his dose.” And another had, “And Obelix is refused the magic potion by Getafix!!!” (A reference to when Obelix had fallen into a vat of magic potion when he was small and hence did not need to take the potion ever again).

On the work front, Aamir was last seen in Thugs Of Hindostan, which had been directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and which had also starred Amitabh Bachchan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Katrina Kaif, and Lloyd Owen. The movie had generated much interest before it was released in December last year, however, it failed to perform well at the box office. His next venture will be for television film Rubaru Roshni of which he has been credited as a narrator.
