The trailer of Salman Khan‘s next film Bharat is out and it has everything the audience expected. Bharat is a film that shows the ‘journey of a nation and a man together.’ Salman Khan, quite interestingly, reveals why his father named him after their country. The trailer gives a glimpse of all the characters in the film. It shows Katrina Kaif playing the character of ‘Madam Sir’, Bharat’s boss while Sunil Grover plays the role of his aid. There’s also a glimpse of Nora Fatehi showing her sexy dance moves while Disha Patani takes over the screen as the golden girl from the 60s. Actors Jackie Shroff and Sonali Kulkarni play the role of Salman Khan’s parents in the film and it’s visible how Bharat stays motivated time and again by recalling the teachings of his parents.
The most striking part of the trailer is the real-life footages used by the makers to establish the development in the narrative. The trailer shows visuals from the India-Pakistan partition, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s death and more. Director Ali Abbas Zafar seems to have added something for every kind of audience in the trailer of Bharat. While there’s enough Bhai-swag to impress the fans of Salman Khan, the story builds curiosity about India’s growth as a country from the time of independence to 2010. The film looks like a perfect treat for a quintessential Hindi movie-watching audience. Bits of song ‘Slow-mo’ can also be heard in the background. The icing on the cake is various looks of Salman Khan. While the teaser of the film, that was revealed earlier this year, looked gimmicky, the trailer definitely creates excitement about the film.
The film is this year’s big Eid release and with this trailer, let’s be assured that Bharat is getting to witness a terrific opening at the Box Office. Produced by Atul Agnihotri and Salman Khan, it’s hitting the theatres on June 5.
