Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji is very new to Instagram but very active. Ayan’s first Instagram post was a graphic poster of the film. Post that, he kept sharing pictures and videos related to Brahmastra. Recently, he shared a picture of himself in the Himalaya and revealed the idea behind the entire fantasy trilogy. He said that the Himalayas inspired him to create the trilogy.
Sharing the picture on Instagram, Ayan Mukerji captioned it, “I would never have written ‘Brahmastra‘, if not for the Himalayas. It was where the idea for the movie – the entire trilogy – came to me, and no other place on earth could have inspired it.” In the photo, Ayan is standing somewhere in the middle of the snow-capped Himalayan mountains.

“How do I describe what the Himalayas make me feel? I just can’t, because words fall short. Their magnificence and spirituality is something I constantly keep going to, because it makes my soul better. Amongst all my travels in this world, I rate my time in the Himalayas the highest, and amongst all the things I love about India, I feel proudest that we have the Himalayas,” Ayan Mukerji added. He called the mountains “home of the Gods”.
Produced by Dharma Productions, Brahmastra is slated to release this Christmas. Also backed by Fox Star Studios, the movie stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna in pivotal roles.
