After foraying on radio and small screen, actor Kareena Kapoor Khan might just make a flying entry into the world of digital media now. The rumours are rife in the industry that Kareena’s go-to banner, Dharma Productions is planning to launch a web-series based on Bebo’s iconic character – Poo from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001).

A report in Mid-day suggests that Kareena Kapoor Khan’s good friend, Karan Johar, is currently developing an entire series that will focus on what happens to Poo after K3G. The daily reports that the character will be shown in her 30s, older, mature and more glamorous. She will, however, still be how she loves to describe herself – PHAT – Pretty, Hot and Tempting). And of course, she will be seen lying on the only mantra she follows in life – Good looks, good looks and good looks!

While there’s no confirmation on either Dharma or Kareena’s part about the show, the daily hints that both KJo and Bebo are quite keen to collaborate to take the Poo-story ahead. The two have always maintained that the character of Poo did wonders for both of them. Karan has revealed on more than one occasion that when the role was being written, he could imagine none other than the stylish Kareena Kapoor Khan as Poo – the young and sexy woman with all the swag in the world. Even Kareena keeps mentioning Karan and how thankful she is to him for offering her one of the most loved female characters in Hindi cinema.

With the digital medium taking a great flight and actors like Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Swara Bhasker and Abhishek Bachchan among others already trying their hands at the web-shows, it’s highly unlikely for Karan and Kareena to miss this opportunity. And Poo already has a cult fan following, so why not… bring it on!
