In the remake of the Hollywood film The Fault in Our Stars, Sanjana Sanghi will be seen opposite Sushant Singh Rajput and earlier today Sushant shared a picture of the two on Twitter. It was a black and white picture of Sushant and Sanjana where Sushant was seen sleeping on Sanjana’s lap and holding her left hand with his right and Sanjana putting her head on his back. The picture that Sushant shared was captioned, “New Beginnings…@foxstarhindi @castingchhabra.” Just one glimpse of the two together and fans are already excited for the release of the film. Though the title of the film has not been revealed yet, it seems like preparations have already started.

This film will be Sanjana’s debut film while we have seen Sushant in a quite a number of great films, like M.S Dhoni – The Untold Story and Kai Po Che. The film also marks the debut of casting director Mukesh Chhabra. Mukesh already knew Sanjana since he has been a casting director for a long time. He had previously worked with her in Rockstar and then worked together a few years later for an ad job. It was then Mukesh found her to be the perfect face to play the role of Hazel Grace Lancaster in the remake. The music of the film will be composed by Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman and will be produced under the banner of Fox Star Studio.

Here’s what he shared

With the first look of the movie out, it looks like the leading stars share a great on-screen chemistry, just like the magic the lead pair in the original movie created. The shooting for the Fox Star studios movie is in full swing with the lead pair finishing up look tests and moving in and out of the city for outdoor shoots. Sushant will be seen in Abhishek Kapoor upcoming film Kedarnath opposite Sara Ali Khan. Few of his other projects are Chandamama Door Ke, Paani, and Sonchiraiya. The Hollywood version of the film was an adaptation of a Novel by John Green with the same name. The film starred Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort in lead roles.
