Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt‘s Gully Boy, one of the most anticipated films of the year was released on February 14 and since its release, the film is doing wonders at the Box Office. The film has now acquired the number one spot on IMDb’s top trending Indian film. Vicky Kaushal’s Uri: The Surgical Strike was earlier on the top spot but now Gully Boy has surpassed it.
Gully Boy that also stars Alia Bhatt and Siddhant Chaturvedi has been the talk of the town lately. Many audiences have even watched the film more than once just to see the ace actors nailing it on screen. Now, the film has surpassed Vicky’s Uri and has taken the top spot on the IMDb list. In the third spot stands K.G.F: Chapter 1 and then comes Viswasam.
Gully Boy has crossed the Rs 100 crore club and has now collected a total of Rs 111.25 crore. This is Ranveer’s third consecutive film in the coveted club and also his fifth to have crossed the benchmark. This film is Alia fourth film that crossed Rs 100 crore at the Box Office.
Apart from Ranveer and Alia, Gully Boy also features Siddhant Chaturvedi aka MC Sher, whose performance in the film has made the audience go gaga over the actor. While talking about the best compliment he has received so far, he revealed an incident when Ranveer himself praised him during the shoot. He told Pinkvilla, “So, we are both Govinda lovers, I am a huge Govinda fan. The first song Zoya found me dancing on was Tujhe Mirchi Lagi Toh Main Kya Karun. So, off-screen we used to break into some random filmy dialogues. Ranveer was surprised and he told me, ‘You are one of the most filmy guys I have come across’. That coming from Ranveer is huge because he is filmy and how!”
