The makers of Kalank have released the glimpse of the first song from the film, titled Ghar more Pardesiya. The short teaser clip shows Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan, however, their face is not visible. Ghar More Pardeisya looks like a special Dusshera song, picturised in the background of the big Hindu festival. In the scene in which Varun’s character Zafar is seen entering the big gate, one can see a woman dressed as Sita sitting in what is mythologically known as Ravana’s Ashoka Vatika. Watch the teaser here:

The viewers are expecting the first song to be a larger-than-life number focusing on Varun-Alia’s brilliant chemistry in the film and the teaser seems to be doing full justice to the same. After the stunning teaser of Kalank that released a few days back, one can only expect some more stunning visuals in Ghar More Pardesiya. Alia has reportedly learnt Kathak for the song.

The film, directed by Abhishek Varman, also has a big track featuring Madhuri Dixit, in which she will be seen spreading some old world charm in her Bahaar begum avatar. The film is believed to have another intense track featuring Madhuri and Sanjay Dutt. The two stars are coming together on-screen after the hiatus of 21 years. The film also stars Aditya Roy Kapur as Balraj Chaudhary and Sonakshi Sinha as Satya Chaudhary.

Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Kalank is slated to hit the screens on April 17.

Earlier, praising the teaser of the film, Alia’s mother, actress Soni Razdan compared the film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s films. She talked to Pinkvilla and said, “Wow, I haven’t seen anything further than the teaser. But, it’s really like a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film in the kinds of appearance, grandeur and the creation of the era. What a spectacle!”
