Actress Kangana Ranaut is making a film on her life, and she says her story from rags to riches will make for a great cinematic experience. The actress who recently got featured in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi released an official statement on her biopic. She said that her life story is quite interesting and the audience will feel magic on-screen.
She said, “My story from rags to riches has extreme highs and deepest lows, it will make for a great cinematic experience. I am very excited and look forward to sharing what seems unbelievable even for me… My story is more magical than magic itself.”
She also added that the film will be written by KV Vijayendra Prasad, who also wrote Manikarnika and blockbuster film series Baahubali. The statement also reveals that the said film is going on floors by the end of this year itself.
For the uninitiated, Kangana belongs to a small village in Himachal Prades. Coming from a village near Manali, Kangana entered the tinsel town with no starry connection, and went ahead to make a place for herself in Bollywood. She proved her talent and versatility with films like Queen (2013) Gangster (2006), Woh Lamhe (2006), Life In A… Metro (2007), Tanu Weds Manu (2011) and Fashion (2008) among others.
Kangana also clarified in her statement that there’s no ‘propaganda’ behind her film and it’s something made with a lot of heart and emotions. She said, “It is not a propaganda film with characters who are starkly black and white, rather it is a sincere, heartfelt account of my journey so far with plenty of lighter moments.”
She also went on to reveal that the film will not showcase any names from the industry. “We will not be taking any names. The idea is to protect me and my life with all its highs and lows.”
Currently, Kangana is occupied with the work of Mental Hai Kya and Panga.
