Filmmaker Karan Johar has shared a lovely selfie with Shah Rukh Khan and captioned it as ‘The LIKE that Is LOVE!!!!!’ He posted the selfie clicked at the backstage of Filmfare Awards 2019 on Twitter. It isn’t a normal picture. It is Karan’s way of giving back to the ones trolling him for accidentally liking an anti-Shah Rukh Khan tweet the other day.

#ShameOnKaranJohar started trending on Twitter after KJo happened to put a heart on a tweet that compared Akshay Kumar‘s Box Office presence with that of SRK. Both the stars later issued a clarification on the matter. While the director called it a technical error, SRK requested all to not spread negativity. Now, after everything got sorted, KJo took a dig at the entire episode by posting a love-filled selfie with Khan. Here’s the picture:

Here’s why KJo landed in trouble with SRK fans:

And here are the tweets made by the two later:

The friendship of SRK and Karan dates back to around 15 years when the actor was shooting Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995) with Aditya Chopra. KJo happened to be SRK’s stylist for the film and he was motivated by the actor to direct his first film soon. In fact, SRK and Kajol made a promise to Karan that they will work in his film whenever he is ready to make it. They fulfilled their promise three years later when KJo directed his first film and made Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998). There was no look back for either KJo or SRK after that.

Karan calls SRK ‘bhai’. He is always full of incidents praising Shah Rukh for having a large heart and for being the kindest actors ever. Even on his show Koffee With Karan, whenever his guest talks highly of SRK’s sweet gestures, he nods along.
