Karan Johar shuts Twitter user who called him "Nepotism ki mulle"
Filmmaker Karan Johar has launched quite a number of celebrity kids like Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor among others. Actor Kangana Ranaut in 2016 had called Karan “flag-bearer of nepotism” on and since then the debate has been going on. It has been three years now and seems like netizens have not forgotten about what Kangana had earlier pointed out. Recently, a Twitter user called Karan “Nepotism ki mulle”.
Karan, took to his Twitter handle to express how much he loved Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. He wrote, “I wish twitter had more than 280 characters for all the brilliant characters of #gullyboy so had to take to Instagram to share my thoughts on this incredible film and my favourite film this decade! Zoya Akhtar is my favourite filmmaker!” A Twitter user commented on his and wrote, “Nepotism ki mulle.” Karan chose not to remain silent this once and replied saying, “Chup kar aur picture dekh!!!!!”.

He had earlier shut another Twitter user who accused him of keeping his children away from mother’s love. Karan, who is not afraid of speaking his mind, had a strong reply for her and wrote, “Ma’m!! With all due respect! Get a life! There are larger issues the country is combatting at the moment and it can very well do without your narrow mindedness! My babies are being LOVED and that’s all that matters…and FYI they have a mother!! My mother! Get it! ???”.

Karan had earlier reviewed Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s Gully Boy and called it a “MASTERPIECE of modern times.” The film is loosely inspired from the lives of street rappers Divine and Naezy. The film has so far minted Rs 75 and numbers are expected to grow in coming days.
