The world of Bollywood is a strange place where not only the newcomers but also those in the industry for long, struggle hard to make it big and actress Katrina Kaif is no exception. While her last year’s release Zero, alongside actors Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma, failed to impress the Box Office, her performance in the movie surely won fans and critics hearts alike. Hence, her million dollar smile was but obvious as she received the Best Supporting Actress For Zero at Zee Cine Awards 2019 on Tuesday night.

An elated Katrina took to her Instagram handle to share the picture of her receiving the award from Boney Kapoor. In the shared picture, Katrina’s happiness cannot be missed as she smiles ear to ear, looking gorgeous in a Reem Acra gown. She captioned the picture as, “Zee Cine awards – Best supporting actress for ZERO @AanandLRai Himanshu Sharma thank u so much for this incredible role and this experience” (sic).

Katrina recently left for Dubai for Da-bangg tour with Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Aayush Sharma, Maniesh Paul and Daisy Shah among others. However, the tour got cancelled and the entire troupe returned back home. On the work front, the actress could not do any wonders at the Box Office last year as both her films – Thugs Of Hindostan and Zero, failed to perform in the year 2018. Now, the expectations are high with Bharat, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The film brings her back on-screen with Salman Khan. The actress was also expected to be seen dancing her way out opposite Varun Dhawan in Remo D’Souza’s film Street Dancer. However, she backed out from the project and now Shraddha Kapoor is on board the film. There’s no other finalised film in her pipeline.
