The film is facing the competition with Vicky Kaushal’s Uri: The Surgical Strike and recently released Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga featuring Sonam Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao.
Despite so many controversies, Manikarnika has continued to perform well. This is known to all that Kangana has directed the film along with Radha Krishna Jagarlmudi. The latter revealed how she took over the project and even ousted Sonu Sood just to satisfy her ego.

The actress reacted to it saying, “Krish has been credited for his work in the film and it is very incorrect on his part to say something like that. If he has any issues with the film, then he should talk to the producers and should not attack me for that reason.”

The movie is bankrolled by Zee Studios in association with Kamal Jain & Nishant Pitti. Along with Kangana, it also features Ankita Lokhande, Danny Dengzopa, Jisshu Sengupta and Atul Kulkarni.

On a related note, she will next be seen sharing the screen space with Rajkummar Rao in Mental Hai Kya.
