Filmmaker Sajid Khan has been accused of sexual harassment by actress Saloni Chopra and a freelance journalist. The actress had alleged that during her initial days in the film industry, she had worked as an assistant director to Sajid and that’s when the filmmaker abused her. In her long post for Medium, Saloni has claimed that Sajid used to tell her how unattractive she was and how she didn’t have in her things needed to be an actress. She also alleged that the filmmaker used to tell her how his sex life with his then-girlfriend was so good. She also revealed the incident when Sajid asked her to lift up the skirt of an actress he was working with and when the actress herself complied to his demand, he told her how she didn’t have a** of an actress.
The article further had Saloni sharing that once when she felt infuriated with Sajid calling and texting him at odd hours, he straight away asked him if it was only about sex and if it was, she was ready to give him what he wanted so that he leave her alone after that. To which, as the article read, Sajid had replied that she was a fool if she thought it was only about sex. She wrote, “I was so tired of his behaviour that even my fear of him wasn’t enough to shut me up. He started yelling at me and claimed that I was so naive and stupid if I thought this was just about sex. This wasn’t about sex, it was about me being his little b***h and doing everything he told me to do. He’d name directors that keep actresses at their homes for months and that’s just how this works. He then said ‘you think I want to f**k you? I have such a hot girlfriend, why would I f*** a girl like you that’s not even sexy?’”
She added, “So I asked, almost pleading, what was it that he wanted from me? He said he wants me to do everything he tells me to. Stay with him. Maybe he’ll ask me to touch myself in front of him, maybe he’ll want to record it. He’ll do things to me and give me orgasm and teach me the art of sex but maybe he won’t actually put his d*** inside me. Maybe he will. But it would be up to him what he wanted and if I thought casting couch was just about a one time sex then I was foolish. No one would cast me unless I was ready to be their ‘keep’”.

Saloni mentioned that it was only when he forced her to feel his d*** that she left the job and never went back to work. She narrated, “We didn’t talk about anything else, up until he pointed at the way I sat and snapped at me. ‘Spread your legs when you sit!’ I said I didn’t want to. He started again about how I was so unattractive and there was nothing sexy about me. I wasn’t even good enough to be an actress so how could he ever cast me. He could print a contract right now and make me sign it, but I just didn’t have it in me. He said he was doing this all for ME, for MY GOOD. He tried to grab my hand and put it on his d*** to show me that I didn’t give him a boner”.
She added, “I shrugged it off and asked him to stop. He frantically started walking around the room telling me I was never going to have a future in this industry and no man would ever find me sexy and he should have a boner but he doesn’t, he doesn’t have a boner looking at me. And then, he pulled his pants down and showed me his d*** as he kept yelling ‘see? You don’t even make me hard!’
That’s when I threw his laptop and I walked out of the room. I was petrified and disgusted and I couldn’t believe what had just happened to me. I couldn’t work for this man anymore”.

Another woman, a freelance journalist has also shared her story of being sexually harassed at the hands of Sajid Khan. She posted, “The first time I interviewed Sajid Khan in the early 2000s, he called me to the house he shared with his sister. Thru the interview, he talked about how large his p***s is & how he knew how to satisfy a woman. I ignored his trash talk & got back on track with my interview. He walked out of the room to show me some DVD from his collection. When he returned, his p***s was out. I got up to leave immediately only to find him blocking the way out. And, he forced his tongue down my throat. I pushed him away and ran out. I cried all the way on the train from Vile Parle to VT. I got back to my office and wrote his interview because that was my job”.
She added, “A few years later, I had to work with Sajid when I was at MTV. Initially, I wanted to find a way to not work on that show. Then I realised, why should I let go of an opportunity because a man can’t keep his d**k in his pants. At the end of the first meeting, I forewarned him about behaving himself. I’ll never forget what he said to me “You are fatter than you used to be. I won’t touch you with a barge pole.” And then he laughed”.
