If Valentine’s week was keeping the couples any less on their toes, Kabir Singh star Shahid Kapoor‘s intimate picture with wife Mira Rajput Kapoor is enough to leave them amping up their love game. Though love paints one’s life in myriad hues, Mira’s monochromic picture is not dependant on the colour palate as it speaks a thousand words.
Taking to her Instagram handle this Sunday, Mira treated fans to her intimate moment with Shahid and it is all love birds ever. The duo can be seen standing in their garden, dressed in athleisure wear. While Shahid stood gazing into oblivion, with his hands in his pockets, Mira leaned onto him from behind and wrapped her arms around his neck.

Shahid and Mira got married on July 7, 2015, in a Hindu wedding ceremony. The couple hosted a wedding reception in Delhi, followed by a star-studded one in Mumbai. They are proud parents to two kids. Their first child, Misha Kapoor was born on August 26, 2016. Mira gave birth to their second child, Zain Kapoor last year but it was during Mira’s first pregnancy that the two fell in love. Both Shahid and Mira are doting parents to their kids. While the actor has always maintained that it’s the best feeling in the world to go back to his kids after a tiring day at work, mommy Mira has also expressed how much she loves her time at home with the two kids. In fact, after the birth of Zain in April last year, an emotional Shahid talked to the media and said that his family is complete now and there’s nothing else he desires for at this point in life.
On the professional front, Shahid is currently shooting for Gowtam Tinnanuri-directorial Jersey. Jersey’ is the Hindi-remake of a Telugu film of the same name helmed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. The Telugu version received an overwhelming response from the audience and critics alike. After Vikas Bahl’s ‘Shaandaar’, the sports drama would see father and veteran actor Pankaj Kapur and son Shahid Kapoor sharing the screen space together.
The film revolves around a father named Arjun (Nani), a talented but failed cricketer, who decides to return to cricket in his late thirties because of his desire to represent the Indian cricket team and fulfill his son’s wish of an Indian jersey as a gift. How he makes it big despite being limited by his age forms the essence of the story.
In Jersey, Shahid will be seen as a man in his late thirties trying to get back to his game of cricket and play at the national level for the country despite all the odds relate to his age. Pankaj essays the role of his on-screen mentor.
