Making fans hearts skip a beat, the makers of ’83 dropped the picture of cast member playing Roger Binny’s role in the Kabir Khan directorial. Essayed by Nishant Dahhiya, Roger’s bowling was crucial to India’s win in 1983’s cricket World Cup.

Movie’s lead actor Ranveer Singh‘s latest Instagram video reveals how much blood and sweat have gone behind training for his upcoming film – ’83. The actor has posted a video that features him and other actors going through their intense training schedule under real-life cricketers Kapil Dev, Mohinder Amarnath and others. In one scene, Ranveer is even seen instructing his team to pull up their socks and ‘better look like they want to play cricket’ in front of former skipper Kapil Dev. The video shows the Dharamshala stadium and the breathtaking view of the ice-capped mountains in the background.
The post also reveals that ’83, directed by Kabir Khan, will be hitting the theatres on April 10 next year which is a Good Friday.
