A wedding is never done until the wedding cake is cut, and looking at the enormous cake that Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas cut on the day of their Christian marriage, one can say it looked royal. The two, who tied the knot according to both the Hindu and Christian traditions at Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace, were captured on camera cutting the wedding cake with a sword.

The two looked regal in their Ralph Lauren outfits for the Christian wedding that was held on December 1. Priyanka looked drop-dead-gorgeous in her white bridal gown with floral motis, scalloped sleeves, beads, embroidery and a high-neck collar. The most unique part about her whole wedding outfit was her veil which is said to be 75-foot long. Nick, on the other hand, donned a six-button, double-breasted black tuxedo and custom patent lace-up dress shoes.

And looking at the pictures and videos from that day, we can say it was a grand affair. Check out the 18-feet tall and 6-tier cake which was designed as a palace.

For the Hindu wedding, Priyanka donned a stunning red lehenga by designer Sabyasachi Mukherji. The whole lehenga was peppered with fine jewels, sequin and embroidery. Her wedding jewellery was crafted with uncut diamonds, emeralds and Japanese cultured pearls in 22 karat gold. Nick donned a beige Sherwani from the same label.

Priyanka and Nick threw a lavish wedding reception on December 4 in Delhi, and among the guests who attended was Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They will also be holding a reception in Mumbai for friends from the film industry. The two will then head out for their honeymoon once the festivities are done, and will reportedly celebrate Christmas together.
