Manoj Bajpayee recently condemned the Pulwama terror attack that took place on Thursday, February 14, 2019 in Jammu and Kashmir where 40 CRPF personnel were martyred. He offered his prayer to the families who lost their loved ones in this tragedy.
During a recent interacting with the media at Cine And TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA) Manoj expressed his grief and said, “Words will fall short to express our anger for this kind of heinous act. My prayers are the families of soldiers who have lost their dear ones in the tragedy and it’s their irreparable loss”.
Many Bollywood celebs have condemned the act and few have even come forward to help the families of the jawans who lost their lives in the tragic attack.
Recently, the team of Total Dhamaal donated Rs 50 lakhs to the families of the jawans. Sharing the news film and trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on Twitter, “Team #TotalDhamaal – the entire crew, actors and makers – donate ₹ 50 lakhs to families of soldiers who were martyred in the #Pulwama terror attack. #PulwamaAttack #PulwamaTerrorAttacks” (sic). Earlier, the actors of Total Dhamaal had taken to their Twitter handle to express their shock at the unfortunate incident and condemn it.
Earlier, actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Diljit Dosanjh among others had donated for the same. Salman offered help through his own charity fund, Being Human Foundation. Taking to his Twitter handle, Union Minister of Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, thanked the actor and tweeted, “Thank you @BeingSalmanKhan on offering to contribute for Pulwama Martyrs through BEING HUMAN FOUNDATION. I’ll work out for handing over of the cheques in the account of #BharatKeVeer @BharatKeVeer” (sic).
On the other hand, Diljit Dosanjh had donated Rs 300,000 to the wives of the CRPF troopers who died in the terror attack and shared a snapshot of his donation receipt to the CRPF Wives Welfare Association on Sunday.
