Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were recently clicked at the airport looking extremely happy. They were sharing glances and laughing about something. This was surprising considering the rumoured couple always appears guarded about their chemistry and doesn’t often smile for the paparazzi. Things seem changed this time though. And now, one hears that the reason behind the same is indeed the increasing proximity between the two stars.

Speculations are rife that Ranbir and Alia are already head over heels in love with each other. However, a recent gesture from the actor just made Alia the happiest girl in the world. An entertainment portal has revealed that Ranbir has gifted Alia a highly expensive bag from the latest collection of a popular brand and the Kalank star is just not getting over this lovely gesture.

As reported by Cineblitz, Ranbir had been on regular trips to New York to visit his ailing father. During his last visit, he bought a red Chanel bag from the Spring 2019 collection for Alia. The bag, as it’s mentioned on the brand’s site, costs $6,900 which is close to INR 5 Lakh. Alia has got an impressive collection of bags and this addition to her closet was just so special. In fact, the actor was seen flaunting her latest possession at the airport as she returned from vacation. It was a two-sided side-pack with cross chain and Alia styled it over a basic white t-shirt and a pair of wide-legged denim. Check this out:

The portal quoted an insider revealing that Alia went ‘speechless’ seeing Ranbir’s efforts and she went on to show the gift to all her dear ones around.

The couple will be seen together in their upcoming film Brahmastra. The Ayan Mukerji-directorial was earlier slated to hit the screens on December 20. However, after Salman Khan announced the release of his film Dabangg 3 on the same date, the film has now been postponed to next year. The shooting of the film is complete and both the actors have now moved on to their individual projects. For Ranbir, it’s Shamshera and an untitled one with Luv Ranjan. For Alia, it’s Sadak 2, Takht, RRR and Inshallah.
